Jumping Across Stepping Stones
“Heart of Stone” is a song that was recorded by the English rock band The Rolling Stones. It is credited to the songwriting partnership of Jagger/Richards. The song came out as a single in 1964 and is featured on their albums The Rolling Stones Now! and Out of Our Heads. It became their second Top 20 US hit.

The Ghostly Spirit of Superman
Kids had stars in their eyes when they talked about their hero Superman. A DC comic superhero who was incredibly strong and to top it all off he was as fast as the wind and he could fly. Then in 1952 came the TV series “The Adventures of Superman” putting their hero on the screen. The actor playing Superman was rightly chosen since he looked strong and muscular and was a handsome figure. Now the kids could watch Superman do all those things they just saw on the pages of their comic books and to them it all seemed so real. However, for the actor portraying Superman life was not all about being a superhero on the TV screen, life had its problems.

Lexington Horse Capital of the World
The U.S. state of Kentucky is a southeastern state bordered by the Ohio River in the north and in the east the Appalachian Mountains. It is surrounded by seven states with West Virginia to the east, Virginia to the southeast, Tennessee to the south, Missouri to the west, Indiana to the northwest, and Ohio to the north and northeast. Lexington is a city known for its horse farms and thoroughbred racetracks.

The Artist Who Created the Scream
Norwegian artist Edvard Munch is best known for his iconic pre-Expressionist painting “The Scream”. Munch was born in 1863 in Loten, Norway. In his creative artwork, he established a kind of free-flowing psychological theme style that was very much all his own. His painting “The Scream” is one of his most recognized works of art and was painted in 1893. The painting was sold in 2012 on the auction block at Sotheby’s in New York City for over $119 million which set a new record.

Yokohama on the Ooka River
Yokohama is a city located south of the capital of Japan, Tokyo. The city is located in Kanagawa Prefecture and is situated on the western coast of Tokyo Bay. The Ooka River runs through the city. It was one of the first Japanese ports that were opened to foreign trade in 1859. Here are many impressive sites to see and many amazing landmarks.

Going Fishing
England Kippers are a part of a traditional British breakfast dish. A whole herring is halved, gutted, seasoned with salt, and cold-smoked over woodchips. Kippers are now sold canned. They have a smoky flavor and are eaten on toast with butter for breakfast and can be used to make other foods.

Restless Spirits in Wyoming
Wyoming Territorial Prison at Laramie State Park in Laramie was built in 1872. In the north wing, there were just 42 cells, 14 cells on each of the three levels. The cells were small with arched ceilings and iron gate doors. When there was overcrowding two inmates had to share a cell. Inmates here were convicted of offenses ranging from stealing to manslaughter. Since no capital offenders were sent here at this prison there were no executions.

When artwork from the period based on Impressionism is discussed, the artist that is mentioned the most is Claude Monet. In 1840 Monet was born in Paris, France. Usually, it is the hardships and struggles that have created the very best artists and Monet was not born into a wealthy family.

Nagasaki on the Urakami River
Nagasaki sits on the northwest coast of the island of Kyushu. The city is set on a large natural harbor with buildings on the terraces of the surrounding hills. This city is remembered for a key moment that happened during WW II, when it suffered an Allied nuclear attack in August 1945.
