'The Barn' Is an 80s Horror Throwback That's Worth a Watch!

A new movie has emerged with less-then-subtle nods to that great decade of movies.

It's Got that Halloween III Vibe....

Are you a fan of those 80's Horror film's with outlandish kills and great electro soundtrack's? I know, silly question, who isn't!?!

A new movie has emerged with, shall I say, less then subtle nods to that great decade of movies. That movie is The Barn! which is apparently set to take you back to 1980's this year.

Here's the plot:

Its Halloween 1989, best friends Sam and Josh are trying to enjoy what’s left of their final Devil’s Night before graduating high school.
But trouble arises when the two pals and a group of friends take a detour on their way to a rock concert, finding an old abandoned barn and awakening the evil inside.
Now it’s up to Sam and Josh to find a way to protect their friends and defeat the creatures that lurk within “The Barn”.

Hallowed Jack, The Boogeyman & Candy-corn Scarecrow

EXCITED?? I am! see the trailer below for more....

The plot to the film looks generic enough BUT with a fresh twist to be widely commercial. Just a shame I can't go rent this in a Big Box VHS.....or can I?

The Movie was successfully funded on IndieGoGo, in fact it was 117% funded which amazes me. Also looking at some of the perks offered for backers I wish i'd known about the campaign myself as i'd have got on-board.

That Nintendo cartridge brings back memories....

What is AMAZING is that the writer/Director Justin Seaman, came up with the idea for 'The Barn' when he was 8 years old! So this is a dream come true for him and from what i've seen it's been worth the wait.

I bet his teachers were concerned...
