The Hill Behind the Old School

Chapter 1

Behind the school in Evansdale, there was a chain fence and a little hill. The children often wandered off to the fence, only to crawl underneath and investigate the hill. There was a reason the fence was placed, although the children were young and playful. The teachers yelled, and they came running back.

The high schoolers loved to venture off at night and pretend the stories of the hill were just for fright. Although one night, they were in a tight spot when they realized the stories were all true.

The story of the hill behind the old school goes as follows...

There once was a group of teens: Emma, Luke, Jonah, and Rebekah. They were 15, and decided to have a fun night behind the old school. The teens took an Ouija board out, and at 00:00 they decided to play. They lit candles, and began summoning spirits.

They contacted a spirit who said her name was Helen. Helen seemed nice and playful at first. She seemed kind. The teens did not even believe that there really was a spirit, but that one of the others was controlling the chip.

Rebekah asked Helen to show herself, or make it known she was real. They suddenly heard giggling, and their candle went out. Jonah began to relight the candle. Emma tried turning on a flashlight. Luke was very quiet. Rebekah was laughing. Luke looked at Rebekah and asked her why she was laughing.

Rebekah's face changed suddenly, and twisted into a soft, but devilish expression, "My name is Helen. Rebekah is gone." Luke started to laugh.

"Rebekah, stop, seriously. You might be funny but it is not the time." Rebekah's body began to move in jagged, sharp motions, unlike anything they had seen before; similar to a doll, or puppet, being pulled abruptly by its creator during a show.

Emma began to get nervous. Her expression went from enjoyment to panic. Luke realized quickly that the girl that was once Rebekah had become some other entity.

"Why are you doing this Rebe- Helen? Helen, what is going on?" Jonah asked calmly, but quickly.

"You will find my body, or you will all slowly die...Rebekah may be the first, but she will not be the last. I will use her body to supervise you finding mine. The hill is the first place to start looking, but don't forget my brothers and my sisters lie some where around these woods as well."

"Who are you?" Emma slowly but surely asked.

"I am the girl buried in this hill. The girl who will kill any and all visitors who do not find the bodies of my brothers, my sisters and I. I am the girl that was the first victim of Old Mr. Webster Hockmen. The girl that he took so many years ago. The girl that was both never missed, and missed forever." The three teens looked at each other.

"How are you inside Rebekah?"

"The same way I will be grab ahold of each of you if you can't do as I say," Rebekah's face twisted into an unfamiliar emotion—an emotion of pure evil and hatred, a face that no human ever wishes to see, made by any living or dead creature. Rebekah was no longer Rebekah, the teens now feared for their lives, but could not abandon their dear friend.

"Okay," Emma whispered. The boys turned to her sharply, unaware of what would come out of her mouth next. "We will help you, but leave our friend first."
