The characters from the fantastically, disturbingly horrifying, IT return to the big screen one last time to take on Pennywise the Clown (starring Bill Skarsgard).
Bill Skarsgard’s performance as Pennywise the Clown definitely has brought the most terrifying emotions in IT. While playing the character was a massive challenge, Skarsgard did a fantastic job.
“After we wrapped, I was in my childhood home in Sweden, sitting having coffee with my mom at our kitchen table, and realized, 'Oh, holy sh—, I don't have to deal with this relationship anymore! It was a very quick shift of just feeling better, like 'Oh my God, I'm relieved that I don't have to deal with the darkness of the character.' I likened it to an exorcism—him exiting my body and getting rid of the Pennywise toxins." —Skarsgard.
The first official teaser trailer for IT Chapter Two is now online, and the reactions have been terrifyingly good.
Set 27 years after the first outing of Pennywise the Clown, this film features the Losers Club as adults. James McAvoy stars as Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain takes on the role of Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader plays Richie Tozer, James Ransone portrays Eddie Kaspbrak, Jay Ryan stars as Ben Hanscom, and Isaiah Mustafa is Mike Hanlon. Director is Andy Muschietti and the Writers are Gary Dauberman (Screenplay by) and Stephen King (based on the novel by).
IT Chapter Two’s first official teaser trailer shows us a scene of that which fans had seen during Cinemacon this year. Beverly March (starring Jessica Chastain) is now an adult. Returning to her childhood home in Derry, Maine, she stumbles across a horrific manifestation that doesn’t seem to bode well for her.
